Whether you want a simple or elaborate photobooth, The PhotoBooth Bros. can accommodate everything you need to make your party unforgettable! Here are some pointers to use to ensure that your photobooth is perfect Quinceanera!
Space and Sizing:
Some of the first things our clients ask us is how much space they have in their venue for the photobooth bros. The size of the space you have for us can potentially limit the type of booth your have. For instance, if you want our super fun Inflatable enclosed photobooth you will need a 10 x 10 foot space.
If you find out that you are strapped for space or you don’t want the photobooth to be too much of distraction during your reception, you can purchase the open air booth that is normally 8×8 feet but can be as small as 5×5 feet in size or you can purchase our small 5×5 foot enclosed booth which is less flashy than our open air booth and also only requires a 8×8 foot space.
Photographer vs. “ Machine” photography;
We know that some of our Quinceaneras want the “machine” or software option for their photobooth. However being in the photobooth business as long as we have, we have learned that the photographer option is the best way to ensure that your pictures come out fantastic. Let us go over some of the benefits and disadvantages of upgrading to our software option compared to our photographer method.
With our photographer option, the guest are not pressured by time restraints to take their pictures. The Photographers are trained to crop the images, make sure everyone’s’ eyes are open and that everyone is looking at the camera. With the photographer, there is also more leeway with the images. For instance, a lot of times in a 3 picture photoset, the guest might not like all the images that were taken. However, with the photographer, we can retake any of the 3 pictures without starting the process all over again.
Our software option has been created to have social media, GIFs or the 4×6 inch print format. The software option is just like those booths that you see in the mall. The booth takes a picture roughly every seven seconds and the camera is mounted in one location throughout the whole picture. This option is great if you want your guest to have their images emailed to them and if you want yourself while taking your picture and also if you want see the picture right after it has been taken. However there are some downsides to software. For instance, since your guest can see themselves on the screen when the picture is being taken, many guest might be looking down at themselves instead of the camera. There is also the time restraint, many times if you are not fast enough you might miss the flash!
Either option you choose, we always send professional quality DSLR cameras and you are sure to get beautiful pictures from your event!
Choosing a Color:
With each of our photobooth packages, you always have the option of selecting your backdrop color! Plus, if you purchase our LED inflatable you also have to select the color for that as well! This section is going to guide you through choosing the color of your backdrop or inflatable booth.
We have almost every sequin color backdrop that you can imagine so if your reception has a color scheme, we probably can match the color of your color story! Now if you are unconcerned about the backdrop matching your color theme, the colors that complement the photos the best are gold and silver. You can’t go wrong with any of our backdrop colors, but the gold and silver are classic and makes everyone look great!
Now onto the LED booth color, our fun inflatable booths turns red, blue, green, purple, light blue or cyan. That means you can match the color of your booth with the color scheme of your event! If the inflatable doesn’t turn the color scheme of your event, don’t fret! The booth can also fade all the colors which is super fun or you keep it simple and make it glow white.
To Scrapbook or not Scrapbook:
This isn’t just any old birthday, this is supposed to be the day that your loved one becomes an adult! So you want to remember it with some sort of memento! Here are some reasons to add a scrapbook to your package!
Although you will always get the options to get unlimited prints with any of our packages, the scrapbook is an effortless way on your end to ensure that you get all the pictures from your event. With the scrapbook, the pictures are pasted in a sleek black book and can even act as a secure folder for the pictures that your guest might not have picked up during the time of the event.
You have now went over all the details of your event and now it’s time to decide how many hours you want for your photobooth. Let’s go over the 3 hour duration options that we offer and what type of events they serve best.
If you are having the party at a place with a time restraint like an arcade or a roller rink, 2 hours might be best. If you only have 3 hours at a venue, the 2 hour option will give you some time to set up and let your guest arrive before getting the party started in the booth itself!
If you are less worried about time, 3 hours is our most popular option and is a perfect amount of time for your Sweet 16 birthday party. 3 hours gives your guest enough time to visit our booth and take pictures to remember your awesome day!
We also have our 4 hour option which is perfect for a long party or if you also purchased our scrapbook option. 4 hours will ensure that everyone takes a picture and that we fill up your photobooth with fantastic memories! Not to mention, this an important day for in your teenager’s life.So 4 hours will help you make your event really special. Usually the more hours the better!
